    Sure,
    You have to connect a tape camcorder to a capturing device so that way you can get your video in a PC or Mac (we use Mac). Use a camera (or playing device) that has a firewire port (I had to use three convertors to make USB C from Firewire. BUT It worked in the end.
    The rest is simple. Use Premiere Pro (that is what we used), but I am sure there are cheaper software out there. That is all in a nutshell.

    I have a lot of older familiy videos in poor quality and I´m thinking about how to improve the qualitiy.
