“Makeup, Mayhem & The Bathtub of Destiny”

(An enchanted tale soaked in style and sass)

Once upon a Tuesday (because magical things never happen on Mondays), Afrodite the Glamorous was preparing for her annual appointment with the Mirror of Eternal Selfies. Legend has it that the mirror can grant one perfect photo—no filter needed, even in fluorescent light.

But only if you looked fabulous enough.

Enter Catrin, her trusted beauty sorceress. With a brush in one hand and a suspiciously enchanted highlighter palette in the other, she went to work. Afrodite stood tall, eyes half-closed, lips puckered like a noble goose.

They were minutes away from greatness.

That’s when the mirror blinked.

Not a normal “oops, my eyes are tired” blink. A magical blink.

Catrin paused. Afrodite ignored it, because her cheekbones were now sharp enough to cut stone. But Catrin — bless her nosy instincts — decided this needed further investigation. And as every good beauty spellcaster knows, all magical malfunctions can be solved… in the bathtub.

She dragged Afrodite to the blue-tiled Chamber of Soaking Elegance (also known as the upstairs bathroom), turned the knobs like she meant business, and declared, “This needs water.”

Afrodite, heels and all, climbed in like it was a fashion runway. The water ran, giggles echoed, and—before either of them realized—Catrin had joined her.

Fully dressed.

Because spells don’t wait for swimwear.

Laughter bounced off the tiles as two grown women sat in a soaking tub, completely overdressed and increasingly underdignified. Then came the grand finale: the ceremonial “Shower of Revelation,” which Afrodite delivered like a queen knighting her most loyal subject—with a smirk and a splash.

Soaked and smiling, the two faced the enchanted mirror once more.

It shimmered.

It sparkled.

And then—
It showed them looking absolutely flawless.

(Except Catrin’s mascara was barely holding, and Afrodite’s blouse looked like it had personally fought a sea serpent.)

Still, they blew kisses to their reflection like the fabulous, waterlogged warriors they were.

And the mirror?
It granted them the perfect selfie.
Because if you’re going to break a spell, you may as well do it in heels.

  • Do they also take off some of each other's clothes (shoes, blouse...) ?
